When the Hooded Pro Front Sight is paired with the dual aperture, windage-adjustable MBUS Pro Sight Rear, it can act as a diopter style sight (aperture within an aperture) depending on its placement in relation to the rear sight. Used with the MBUS Pro Sight - Rear, the toolless, elevation-adjustable MBUS Pro Sight set excels in all applications, including when mounted on rail-height gas blocks. Detents keep the Hooded Sight at standard AR sight-height when deployed, and it remains out of the way when it's stowed (measuring 1.71 from the sight base's leading edge to the top of the hood).
